Founded by Activity Planners, Inc., of Las Vegas in 2009, the DMC Alliance was built with the intention of establishing an affiliate network where we were confident that our clients would receive the same level of servicein other destinations as they were delivered by our team.  For  years, we received comments from our clients like “We wish you were in every city we went to”, which just wasn’t our business plan.  We believe that a truly organic DMC is locally owned and operated, specializing entirely within the destination they are based.  With that in mind, we brought on board colleagues in other destinations who had the same perspective to join us in our endeavor to assure consistency in our client experience.

The DMC Alliance is a unique Network Organization, unlike any DMC Consortium known to exist.  Our group is Invitation only to join, with member selection being based on reputation in the industry, colleague, and customer referrals.  We limit membership to one company per destination, and are always open to expanding our Alliance based upon client experiences in cities that we currently do not have an affiliate.  We are not a single brand, but we  celebrate the individuality of each company, with a common belief that personal attention and service are our collective commodity as an organization.

To qualify as a potential member, the company must be a small business, with a brick and mortar office. Members must be active members of The Association of Destination Management Executives International (ADMEI) in good standing, be in business in their destination for over five years, carry $2 million in professional liability Insurance, and submit client references to assure quality in service. This helps maintain consistency in the level of personalized service that our clients receive from destination to destination.  When we share a client with an affiliate, the referring company remains active in the progress of the program, sharing their experience and expertise with their partner to assure that the expectations of their now mutual client are exceeded.  The overall intention of this consortium is to develop long-term repeat customers who understand and appreciate the value of a true partnership with companies truly vested in the destination that they represent.
